Preparation instructions
Fillet the whitefish, clean it carefully from the bones and remove the skin. Cut the fillet into small cubes (approx. 0.5 cm pieces). Place the whitefish in a bowl and add finely chopped chives, grated lemon zest, a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and mix gently until all ingredients are evenly mixed. Leave to marinate in the fridge for 5-10 minutes.
Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on the slices of bread. Spoon a generous amount of whitefish tartare onto each slice of bread.
Garnish with a sprig of dill or chives. Drizzle with a little more olive oil and a few grinds of fresh black pepper.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
